The PAUSE program
What would the scientific and cultural heritage of humanity be if Albert Einstein, Claude Levi-Strauss, Bertold Brecht, Marc Chagall and so many others had not found countries on their way to welcome them and allow them to continue their work?
In many countries, scientists and artists cannot practice their profession freely and are forced into exile. That is why, since 2017, the PAUSE program has been supporting them so that they can continue their work in higher education and research institutions and art schools in France. These scientists and artists face situations that require our support.
By choosing to help them, we are also preserving the freedom to research and the freedom to create.
