Hadrien Saiag, a brilliant researcher in economic anthropology and a great lover of the mountains, died aged 36 of colon cancer on 30 September 2021. He was an enthusiastic, passionate man who was always ready to help others.
The Foundation was set up by his parents, sister, partner and family in October 2022, under the aegis of the Fondation de France. Its aim is to keep his memory alive and to finance projects that would have been close to his heart.
It has two areas of activity:
interdisciplinary research combining economics, sociology and anthropology, with an emphasis on the social and relational dimension of economic facts and institutions;
any action aimed at protecting and preserving mountains and bringing them to the attention of as many people as possible.
Thank you for your donation, which will enable us to continue Hadrian's fights.
