The Foundation Xtraordinaire is dedicated to funding multidisciplinary medical research, with a particular emphasis on innovative projects and those with therapeutic potential. It also supports initiatives that improve the quality of life and foster the independence and self-determination of individuals affected by rare diseases or syndromes associated with intellectual disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders.
In pursuit of its mission, the Foundation may fund or recognize outstanding research projects, scientific studies, and scientific symposia through grants and awards. It may also support public-interest organizations and initiatives dedicated to improving the care and support of individuals affected by these conditions and their families. Particular priority will be given to projects advancing research and care for girls living with rare X-linked syndromes.
