I DONATE to Fondation de France to help people affected in the Himalayas

Fondation de France is launching an emergency appeal to support people affected by the devastating floods that swept through several Himalayan regions on Wednesday, August 26.

The disaster occurred just a few dozen kilometres from the area that was struck by powerful earthquakes in 2015. Since then, Fondation de France has been providing support to affected communities, working closely with Nepalese associations and French NGOs.

Fondation de France is already in contact with the Federation of Nepal to provide assistance to those affected. Local associations are already mobilising to meet the most urgent needs: providing shelter, distributing food and water, and offering social support. In a second phase, Fondation de France will work with its partners to support the recovery of the affected areas.

We will monitor and oversee the projects we support, as we do for every emergency response we undertake.
