The Coup de Pouce Foundation
The Coup de Pouce Foundation, created in 1993 under the aegis of the Fondation de France, is an initiative of the Coup de Pouce Association, the number one association in preventing early school dropout in France.
It takes action during extracurricular time in order to support children identified by their teachers as struggling with the acquisition of core skills by developing specific educational programs and by involving their parents.
Coup de Pouce has four programs designed to empower children by giving them the motivation to learn while boosting their confidence, using a method based on games as a teaching tool :
- the Reading and Writing Club (CLÉ),
- the Language Club (CLA),
- the Reading, Writing and Mathematics Club (CLÉM),
- the Book Club (CLI).
With 37 years of expertise and recognized for the quality of its action, the association has been accredited by the French Ministry of National Education.
A strong objective: to promote equal opportunities at school by fighting against social determinism and to give these children the necessary tools to become enlightened citizens for tomorrow !
